WAIKAKA TEXELS

Sharon established the Waikaka Texel flock back in 1994 as a passion project that has grown to be a very viable part of the stud business. Physically they look great, and have the figures to back them up. Rams chosen for local shows and sales also perform consistently well, receiving awards and top prices in sales. On farm we see great lambing percentages and strong weaning drafts with high yields which are drivers for our clients who come back each year to personally select their rams to add to their team.

GORE TEXEL SALE

We choose our top two rams to take to the Gore Texel sale each January where they are consistently purchased by breeders for top prices

ON FARM TEXEL RAM SALES

Texel rams are sold on farm by appointment through the summer months. New client enquiries are always welcomed

TERMINAL SIRES

Our Texels are bred as terminal sires with focus on meat production. Our focus is on bone structure and carcase.
